Casey is a writer and journalist based in New Alresford, Hampshire.
They studied film and drama at the University of Kent, graduating in 2021 with a 2:1, and completed an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. They have by-lines at the Hampshire Chronicle, Basingstoke Gazette, Andover Advertiser, Romsey Advertiser and Salisbury Journal.
Casey’s writing focuses on video games, movies, TV shows, and travel. They also update their blog with a monthly diary. Their inspirations include Terry Pratchett, Paul Dean, Austin Walker, Bill Bryson, Ursula K. LeGuin, and Gretel Erlich.
In their spare time, Casey plays video games, reads, takes photos, writes scenarios for several long-running D&D campaigns and cooks. They can make a pretty good carbonara.
They’ve also managed to embarrass themselves in front of award-winning comedian John Robins. Twice.
